Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Guardians:

 

Welcome to the school website for Glen Alta Span School!  My name is Dr. Escobar and I am very proud to be the principal of this wonderful school. Glen Alta is part of Region East in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Our student body is approximately 150 students in grades UTK (Universal Transitional Kindergarten) through eighth grade. Our staff is committed to providing an educational program that consistently promotes student achievement. We strive to create an environment where each student is given the attention necessary to achieve his/her individual success. Glen Alta is working diligently with the guidance of the LAUSD’s Strategic Plan to support 100% graduation.

 

We want to emphasize that it is the students who make Glen Alta Span School a rising school.  As a Leader In Me school our students understand the importance of being positive leaders.  The Student Lighthouse Team, with the support of the faculty, focuses on creating an enriching school environment.
